Hollywood is mourning the loss of actress Valerie Harper, who passed away on Friday after battling cancer for years.
Harper’s daughter, Christina Cacciotti shared the news via a message on Twitter from her father Tony. Tributes honoring the beloved actress flooded social media once news of her death broke. Celebrities have taken time to honor, share their condolences, and pay their respects to a woman’s whose showbiz legacy will live forever.
“Valerie Harper was a wonderful actor who made us laugh and cry and laugh again. She cared very much about the membership, and we appreciate her service to the union. Our deepest sympathies go out to her family and friends. May she rest in peace,” wrote SAG-AFTA president Gabrielle Carteris.
