Little Monsters, prepare to hear some new voices on Lady Gaga’s new album.
The world broke after the release of “Perfect Illusion,” Gaga’s first new single in three years. Today, the singer appeared on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show to co-host with Nick Grimshaw. During the show, she slipped a big secret on what to expect on her upcoming album.
“Me and Florence Welch did a duet together. I started to work on an idea for a song that I really wanted to do with a girl. You’ll see why when you see what the song is about.”
That’s right, Gaga and Florence Welch from Florence + the Machine sing together on the new album. Mother Monster said she thought about who she wanted to sing with and that Welch is “if not the best, one of the greatest vocalists in the world.”
The news made it through the airwaves and straight to social media, causing a frenzy.

A few weeks ago, the two singers hinted at a possible collaboration together. Gaga posted a picture of herself driving in a blue, Ford truck on social media. Hours later, Welch posted a picture on Instagram of her posing in front of the same truck. Coincidence? We think yes.
